 Can only for pictures from ACDSee Desktop A nicely written piece of software - but I was a little disappointed because I was expecting a Palm viewer that could view a selection images already on the Palm device - e.g. as stored on the expansion card from my camera in *.jpg; or from attachments from an email. However, it relies entirely on, and can only view, images processed on the desktop machine and then sent to the Palm.I voted the interface only "fair" because the file selection dialog box on the desktop application lacks a thumbnail preview for the list of images available for processing ...

I used ACDSee for years with my PC. It not only lent itself to simple photo editing...cropping, color correction, rotation, batch renaming, etc., but to managing my particular photo filing system. (I am a surgeon and file photos under specific categories with a system which has stood the test of time for me and others.) I recently changed from a PC to a MAC and could no longer use my filing system. I Photo is incompatible.ACDSee for Mac 1.6 has solved the filing problem by allowing the use of mine but does not allow for even simple photo editing ...

This Mac version lacks the facility to add text to photos which has been available in ACDSee photo editing for PCs for years. The absence of this feature substantially reduces my interest in having the program on Mac. I use PCs and Macs. ACDSee for Mac has not, for my use, done anything to substantially improve on iPhoto. Browsing my several thousand photos on Mac with ACDSee is not at all as efficient as is ACDSee on PC. Having used ACDSEE 6,8, 10 & 12 on a PC I am extremely happy to have an opportunity to use it on a Mac. As a \'Browser\' it is preferable to others that recreate your images. I have only had a quick look at the Mac version but it gives me that \'going home\' feeling.It would appear to be missing some of the \'repair tool\' and add text functions however. What happens when the trial period ends do we just download another trial version because we do not seem to be able to purchase it yet ???
I was hoping that there was a newer version of ACDSee for the Mac.All I could find was this old version 1.6.

One friend of mine told me about your amazing software, because I wanted to show him a lot of photos of my last hollydays.I think the programme is very usefull, because nowadays you have hundreds of photos and you can´t print all of them. Acdsee for macbook. I allways used acdsee with windows xp and really like it. Now I would like to вo the same with my new macbook. It seems that I can't for the moment.
